Survey Say You Can Lose Weight Without ‘Commercial Supplements’ |


A survey by Consumer Reports has indicated that the users they polled says that the most successful dieters among them didn’t need the help of expensive commercial diets or diet pills to lose weight.
They did it on their own by true and tested method of exercising regularly and eating right.
Some 21,000 plus people participated in the survey.
The data entails their weight history, eating habits to exercising methods.
In whole the breakdown of the people are as follows:
- 15 per cent: ‘Successful Loser’ Group, who weighs 10% less than they did at their heaviest.
- 16 per cent: ‘Always Thin’ Group, who was never overweight.
- 27 per cent: ‘Doesnt Fit’ Group, who has lost weight recently but doesn’t fit the other categories.
- 42 per cent: ‘Failed Dieters’ Group, who tried losing weight but never did.
The finding indicates that 3 per cent from ‘Always Thin’ eat whatever they want and have never exercised, indicating they have a genetic advantage, but this is not substantial.
Both ‘Always Thin’ and ‘Successful Loser’ did indicate that their regular healthy eating and exercise habits are what attribute to their successful weight loss or keeping at their current healthy weight.
The food group for people who are healthy tend to be whole grains, vegetables and fruits as their core main consumption.
