A new drug called SRT1720 by Sirtris which was inspired by red wine, has the capabilities and benefits of exercise without the sweat.
The pill has the ability to mimic the action of resveratrol, which is commonly found in red wine.
Resveratrol fools the body into thinking that food is scarce and will then burn off fat to survive.
Not only resveratrol mimics exercises benefits but it also prevent diabetes, cancer, heart disease, obesity and Alzheimer’s disease.
This would mean you can eat all the junk in the world and not get fat!
But don’t be too excited yet, as US firm Sirtris are launching the pill in around seven years time. There’s still more testing and approvals by the stringent FDA.
