New Study Says ‘Carnitine’ Does Not Support Fat Loss |

Carnitine is a nutrient found in dairy products and meat which is used in supplements to aid fat loss.
It is said it helps the body to burn fat faster and better, and also produce more energy when you’re on your workout.
Well a study by School of Nursing, Dublin City shows that less than 20 per cent of oral does of carnitine is actually absorbed by the body, with half of them passed through the system within 24 hours in urine.
Also it showed users who took carnitine showed little increase in muscle carnitine levels. But it did showed that high-intensity exercise improved after carnitine supplementation for several months.
In fact the study have shown that carnitine actually stimulated one’s appetite, rather than the opposite of what its supposed to do.
So if you’re still keeping faith with carnitine, its recommended you take a dosage of 2g per day. Anything more, its a waste of money.
The bottomline, the study leans towards the finding that carnitine supplements has little or no evidence that it helps people lose weight, but it is an ideal supplement for athletes training intensely as it helps recovery and prolong the high-intensity exercise.
