How much weight should you gain during pregnancy |

It’s a question many pregnant women struggle with. How much weight to gain during pregnancy?
New guidelines are out, and some of the numbers might surprise you.
- Women who are underweight (BMI of 25 to 29.9) should gain 28 to 40 pounds
- Women at a normal weight (BMI of 18.5 to 24.9) should gain 25 to 35 pounds.
- Women who are overweight (BMI greater than 30) should gain 15 to 25 pounds.
- Women who are obese should gain 11 to 20 pounds.
