After all these years of training, I’ve found out its best to listen to my body.
I learned it the hard way, thinking back then that ‘pain is gain’.
To cut the shorty short, I dislocated my ankle bad due to overtraining and on another occasion pulled a hamstring.
All this because I didn’t take signs of exhaustion by my body seriously.
So the past few days I took off and didn’t train, as I felt my right knee didn’t feel ‘right’.
I’ll try it out tomorrow for a test run. For now its plenty of rest and good food.
So listen to your body. Don’t ignore it or you’ll pay the price for your ignorance.
