I believe many of the gym membership being offered out there are marketing gimmicks. Yes I’ve been approached many times on the streets, and I admit they know how to really work the customers. They would get a good looking fit men or women do their sweet talking, and get you signed up for programs and such at whatever cost. Some of it, you don’t even know what you’ve signed up for, or even needing it. It’s a spur of the moment thing when you signed up, and these agents have successfully made a sale. Hook, line and sinker. For examples they will come out in full force trying to get new members who has just made New Year’s resolutions, that sorts of approach. These agents will take no for an answer. When you just want the basic gym membership, they’ll try to psycho you to sign up for more. You can’t blame them either as they’re working on commission-based. I’m not saying commercial gyms out there are bad, but how they operate as a business entity to get new members are so sleazy. You know how those weight loss before-and-after shots of people who are slobs, are turned into slim muscular toned people overnight, well most of the time it’s not photoshopped. But I do know however, they get the top people out of the thousands of the lot, and doesn’t represent the average person with weight loss results. Also it doesn’t take overnight to get great looking bodies as promised. In reality it takes time to train people from my experience. A safe bet would be six months at least if you’re genetically endowed to a year for the average-joe to see the changes in you. Yes nothing beats regular quality workouts on consistent schedule with eating the right food. I sees its 40% workout and 60% diet. So don’t lose hope in your weight loss cause. Start small, build from it, gain confidence and keep the faith.
