I would recommend 2-5% of weight to be loss for your your goal. This is realistic enough of a goal. Once you’ve achieved that, you’ll noticed a new different person in you. From there, work on more attainable goals.
It’s all about eating ‘smart’
It’s not about deprivation of food but teaching you on eating the right food. Have the correct eating portion on a daily basis, this is another important factor.
Know when to stop and not living a ‘live to eat’ syndrome. Consume food that helps to prolong to keep you more full, such as yogurt and filling foods such as grains and fruits.
Get Active
For me to get in tip-top shape, its 70% eating smart and 30% moving your ass. To be active, you need to lose calories. Once your active calories burned is more than what you consumed on a daily basis, over time, you’ll notice you’re a few sizes smaller.
This is no secret, but a scientific fact. Rather than call it exercises, play a game you love. You won’t notice the time passed and the pain threshold is much bearable as your mind is on the game.
On a daily basis, try not to opt for the easier way of living. You could be taking the stairs, instead of the escalator, that sort of stuff.
Maintain a good habit
To be fit, toned and healthy, its a lifestyle. Those who shed off the pounds, most of the time doesn’t stay for long as they revert back to their old lifestyle. It’s all about changing your routines and habit.
Once you accept and acknowledge the change, you won’t want to go back to the old-slob. Consistency is another keyword to remember. Think long term and have control. Track your progress as it will motivate you and lessen the urge to quit.
The Support
I always believe two heads are better than one, and the more heads are better than two. You can of course go about this fat loss goal all alone, but it would be much easier if you’ve the support of family and friends. Trust me, it works.
Aside from affirmation from such family and friends, you can also ask them to join you in your quest. Having someone who shares similar goals, its been know you’re three times more likely to be successful in reaching your goals.
