Things That Are Secretly Making You Fat

There are things in life that are created to aid and entertain us. But some of these advent are making us fat too. You may not realise it, or you’re just being ignorant, but these things are making you fat secretly. It’s time to face it and deal with it people.

  1. Caffeine – More and more caffeine drinkers, are finding themselves getting fatter by the day. For example Starbucks Frappuccino have around 500 calories per drink.

  2. Air Conditioning – The body need regular temperature to regulate and burn calories. With the temperature constant via air conditioning results in no calories spent as no energy was burned. It’s about a few hundred calories a day that’s not being burned. Add that up over the year, you’ll be surprised at the number!

  3. Friends – I did a previous article on this “spending time with fat friends could lead you to become fat yourself“. It is really true, your eating habits change when you’re around your friends. “It was discovered that each additional person at the dinner table means another 20% or so consumed by all present.”

  4. Mom – Remember a time when your mom ask you to finish your meal and you didn’t. She would then threaten that there’s African starving kids who would gobble that down. You would feel guilty right. By nature we’re programmed to finish the food we eat to the last. Bear in mind its much more healthier to eat if you feel just about full.

  5. Internet – Sitting on your ass for hours in front of the computer surfing ain’t productive. You need to at times move around or get your butt off that seat. When you’re looking at the screen, your mind would shut off signals from your body that tells you need food/drink replenishment or even exercise.
