
This is just so conflicting. When you think you’re doing it right by eating and consumiming the necessary diet, a study will come out and dispute another claim
Now scientists suggest that even a modest amounts of food containing soy may halve sperm concentrations. I mean like what the fcuk … and to think I love soy!
Human Reproduction journal which first publish the Harvard School of Public Health study found that there was 41 million fewer sperm per millilitre of semen after just one portion of soy every two days, compared to the “normal” sperm concentration for a man which is between 80 and 120 million per millilitre
The study also pointed out that men who are overweight or obese, are more prone to this sperm concentrations issues
So stuff like tofu, soy mince or milk are the diet that might affect your hormones due to the oestrogens presence espiecially chemicals called isoflavones … but another expert stressed that Asian men who has been eating more soy-based products has no fertility problems
Should I or shouldn’t I consume soy now as I still want to have babies in the future of course, haha
