
Well here’s a lowdown of a low-carb diet. I don’t really approve of it, but recommend a more balanced diet. In my opinion, the latter is a much more healthier approach to fat loss.
- The first few weeks is usually water loss retention and many not be fat losses.
- Such diet may result in the loss of important nutrients where some low-carb diets cut out vegetable and fruit consumption.
- Some dieters are following the diet blindly and sometimes even cut out the wrong carbohydrates.
- A result of drastic cutting intake of dietary fibre can result in constipation.
- Low-carb diet is known to work but the studies are based on short-term period. More studies needed to be done in the long-run.
