
A recent journal in the ‘Nutrition Reviews’ has a research that says high calcium intake has positive link between improved body composition and weight maintenance.
Basically the study found that high calcium intake has an effect on body composition.
How? … Well its a combination of reducing body fat mass while maintaining lean body mass.
It also reduces weight gain and increase weight loss on calorie-restricted diets.
But despite these facts know, plenty of people out there are not getting enough calcium.
For example, nine of out ten women, while six out of ten men from America don’t meet their daily calcium recommendations.
You need at least 2-3 glasses of low-fat and fat-free milk, or other alternatives such as cheese and yogurt.
So if you want to lose weight, get your calcium first!
