It may look cool, but the price for long-term smoking is terrible
A new study that was presented at the American Thoracic Society’s annual meeting in San Diego shared that women appears to be more vulnerable to the harmful effects of smoking than men.
The lung-damaging effects of smoking affects more in terms of women developing the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at an earlier age and after fewer years of smoking than men.
The experts was quoted, “There is no such thing as a safe amount of cigarette smoking. Our data suggest that this is particularly true for female smokers.”
It is said that hormones, particularly estrogen, are the possible reason for why lung cancer acts differently in women than in men
So beware ladies!
