I don’t know how many studies it will take to share the same finding over and over again, but basically to lose weight, you need to exert more calories than what you consume. Yes it’s as simple as that. The latest study by Harvard School of Public Health published their report in the New England Journal of Medicine where it put 811 overweight adults on one of four weight loss plans. The four plans vary in fat, protein, and carbohydrate content which explore the various diet out there like Atkins and such. In short the findings showed that none of the popular diets are any better than any of the others. The study in-turn found that diets that require rigorous participant logs and calorie counting result in the peers failing their weight loss.
