Oh my what the world is coming now. Now there’s a scheme in the UK that will pay parents to walk their children to school.
The pilot project proposed in Manchester, England is to combat obesity among the adults and kids.
The one of the many ‘revolutionary’ health proposal was given the green lights as Department of Health is given some £325 million to offset a pending future problem of having half of UK adult obese by the year 2050, and a expected health crisis costing some £50 billions if nothing is done.
Some have deemed it a form of bribery but if it has come to this, I guess it couldn’t hurt to try when health matters is at risk and nothing else could get these fat parents off their asses to lead the good example to their kids.
