Extra protein in your diet helps in weight loss |


Recent publication in the Journal of Nutrition shared that when one is trying to lose weight, a person with a diet with extra protein is more effective it seems.
It is said from the study that there’s better result in getting your body trimmed and improving blood fats with such diets.
The experiment from observing a moderate-protein diet over the year yield better results than a standard high-carbohydrate, low-fat diet.
From the 130 participants in the study, the moderate-protein group was found to have lesser fat mass and greater improvements in both HDL and triglyceride levels.
It is said that the extra protein helps to preserve metabolically active muscle mass, thus resulting in just shedding more of the stored fats instead.
