Working out is best in slowing down mental decline
If you’re exercising regularly now, that’s good.
You’re building-up and preparing for your twilight years in-fact.
Two recent studies published indicates, exercising slows down the decline in mental skills, and another points that exercise may help to extend the lives of people with Alzheimer’s disease.
The first study by University of California followed more than 3,000 people, ages 70 to 79, for seven years. It found that the old folks with sedentary had the worst mental skills.
The second study indicates that when one is regular in working out, it may protect against the development of Alzheimer’s disease. The study by Columbia University followed 500 people with Alzheimer’s disease for three to four years.
And now who says exercising doesn’t pays-off.
