A study by University of Colorado Health Sciences Center found that men may have to work harder for lowering their diabetes risk if compared to women.
Some 1,100 adults who are at risk of type 2 diabetes was studied.
They were put through dieting and exercise altogether to lower their diabetes risk.
The finding indicates that even though men lost more weight and exercised more than women did, that didn’t result in greater reduction in diabetes risk.
This is due to the fact that men had more diabetes risk factors to begin with.
Well tough luck guys.
