Low-Carb Diet Aids Weight Loss |


Findings in the recent publication of the journal ‘Hepatology’ indicated that low-carb diet is the answer to weight loss.
The reason is that the diet is just more efficient than any other diet in burning fat.
Researches tested some 14 obese and overweight participants.
They were given either a low calorie diet or a low carbohydrate meal.
The findings over two week period saw those in the low-carb group losing double their weight.
It seems the liver played a big role in all of these. The liver burns more excess fat if one is on a low-carb diet.
Scientists are recommending people to optimise their diet instead looking at drugs to combat obesity.
