![]() ![]() BPA Free Bottles A Harvard study recently published in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives, shared that using hard plastic drinking bottles attribute to the increase of concentrations of bisphenol A or BPA in our bodies. Such leaching notable amounts of the controversial chemical into people’s bodies have been linked to increased prevalence of diabetes, heart disease, and liver toxicity for adults. While in infants and children, it might cause developmental problems in fetuses and young children and other ill effects. In-fact Canada has even banned the use of BPA in baby bottles in 2008. The researchers found out that their test-subject who drank for a week from the clear plastic polycarbonate bottles increased concentrations of bisphenol A or BPA in their urine by 69 per cent. So people try to get BPA-free bottles or those Bio-safe ones. There’s plenty out there, it might cost you slightly more, but your health concerns comes first right.
