A study by Children’s Hospital in Kansas City has found that American obese children as young as 10 years old has the arteries of a 45 year old. With such arteries, the kids are highly probable for getting a heart related disease in the future if nothing is done.
It is also found at the American Heart Association conference which shows startling figure that 1/3 of American children are overweight and 1/5 are obese.
This is indeed a wakeup call for the ‘land of the opportunity’ where everything especially their food is “super-sized”.
