Alabama Announces “Fat Tax”

In Alabama USA, the state have come up with “Fax Tax”.

It’s a new initiative to get their state employees to be more active and lead a healthy lifestyle, as claims.

Anyone found to be clinically obese will be surcharge $25 monthly.

Well I guess they had to do it, as its reported 40 per cent of U.S. medical costs are linked to obesity.

I think such companies and corporations are doing it and coming up with such ruling to cut cost in the long run, and not for the sake of their workers at heart.
