I took Wednesday off yesterdat as I really felt ‘beat-up’.
And the rest was what I needed as I ran today, albeit late but nonetheless I ran.
I jogged around 10pm, and nearly never did my workout mind ya, as you guessed it, work piled up.
But I put my mind to it, completed the work ASAP and off I went pounding the pavement.
My pace is getting better, today was 4:28 minute per km.
It’s so hard to find that relaxed running zen rhythm. I had it ‘perfected’ when I was younger, but now I’m finding difficulty trying to adapt to my runs.
Too much stiffness in my upper body with the muscles, but then again I was a sprinter, not a distance runner.
I think I’m doing alright for a former sprinter, doing this pace eh … just as long it keeps me fit, and pass my IPPT yearly :)
