You know what, running when the sun is out-and-about, versus when there’s cloud cover, there’s a stark difference.
Both have their varying degree of difficulty.
For example, when I run where the sun is blazing, at least I can blame it on the sun for my slow pace.
But for today, there was ample shade, I think I could have gone faster with my pace, and I reckon the only blame I can push upon for the slow pace is myself.
The pace was 4:22 minute per km, not bad, considering I ran 10km, which is the furthest I’ve ran so far.
And it’s faster than my yesterday’s mileage, which was a shorter distance at slower pace compared to today’s.
Stark improvement yes. And I was pushing it slightly hard today, but not too hard, this aging body is getting old, haha.
Well slowly I’m including body workout into the routine. Tomorrow, there will be more reps and higher intensity.
I am ‘sure’ looking forward to that :p
