I thought of taking the day off today, not because I felt anything wrong with me, but because I was slightly behind in my work.
But when the clock struck 9pm, I was still doing my work and I thought to myself, hmmm something just doesn’t feel right.
Then I remembered a Anthony Robbins seminar which I heard on the audiobook, his wise words still echoes in my mind “If you can’t, you must. If you must, you can”.
So I strapped on my ankle guard, put on my trainers and I was off out the doors by 9.30pm.
I was glad I made the choice to run, it’s so much easier to run during the night compared in the day.
Despite the ‘easy’ run, I was doing 4:38 minute per km, haha … damn either I was really slow or my mileage charting has some serious errors.
Well despite all that, it was a good, sweaty and stress-free training.
This week I’m really bringing the intensity to another level. I’ve not had this ‘aching’ feeling for quite a long time, not since I trained hard when I was running competitively.
Still I can’t stretch myself too hard, too fast, as I don’t have the luxury of the time when I was still schooling.
Haiz work sucks eh.
