The weather today was so freaking hot. Well about that later-on.
Today I started my post-jog with some abs and core exercises.
I did 300 reps of abs, plus 150 of core stuff. That sure was a sweaty workout doing it.
Before the core stuff, my legs was slightly swelled from yesterday’s workout.
Nothing that I cannot handle, just some muscle ‘tear’ that’s normal in recovery and growing.
With the core area finished in around 30 minutes, I moved to the cardio and upper body conditioning part.
The run was slow. I ran about 4:31 minutes per km pace.
That’s because the weather was so totally fried man. I was scorched and I bathe in sunblock before I ran to make sure I wasn’t sunburned.
Usually I would complete a route without stopping, but today I made a ‘pit-stop’.
I detoured at the Woodlands stadium to wet myself and took a few sips of water. It was just unbearable.
I resumed my run and completed the route in 40:21 minutes covering 8.91km.
Looks like my mileage is increasing every single day. Will try to reach 9km tomorrow if work doesn’t beckons.
