Well this is the start of the week where I came back from a bout of diarrhea which saw me out of action for five days.
I lost plenty of weight, particularly water and indeed that showed when I did my running and body conditioning.
I felt utterly ‘light’, as if I was a fraction of my weight previously, but that doesn’t mean it was any easier on my workouts.
Being just coming back, I was quite ‘weak’. I felt weaker physically, albeit I was mentally ready. I felt there was no surge or push in my run, but my body conditioning, surprisingly I could take it.
The run itself, I felt a certain lack of strength which I had the previous week. It is said, if you were to stop doing your workout for a week, then the prior 3 weeks of workout would be gone and you’ve to start from that point onwards.
Indeed I felt likewise, but I’ve all the time in the world. I’m a man of patience and believe in the small things in life being done, to culminate in bigger things later on.
So I’m picking up the pieces now. Tomorrow I’ll add my abs routine to the mix and slowly get back on the wagon. It’s great to be back!
