Timings: 68 74 ~ 70 seconds
After yesterday’s training, I had a splitting headache. The cause, well I don’t know why, but there was some residual headache as I went to training.
The right ankle is holding up well. I can use it, but its just that on particular leg extension or twist and such on the ankle, it will result in a acute pain shooting up my leg. I think its ligament related.
All I can do now is use my ankle guard and ice it after training. Get some proper rest and hope all will be fine.
The training today is speed endurance and I clocked on average 70 seconds which is around near to 100 percent effort. My intended intensity level was 85 percent.
Damn I’m flying today. I just don’t know, it just felt good using the new trainers.
But however, my timing difference for the two sets was 6 seconds apart at 68s for Set 1 and 74s for Set 2.
That’s not good, as I’m trying to train myself to pace wisely, which is very important during sprinting. I should have held back during the Set 1, going for 70s timing and the last set, to clock within 1-2 seconds of the first run.
Well a valuable lesson learned today and I hope next such session will be a better timing for me.
After the workout, as usual lactic build-up was ‘killing’ me. I took ten minute to walk it off, but still I felt ‘weak’. But I proceed with body conditioning. Gotta do it man.
I took longer than usual to do the workout, but that’s fine, as long I finished it. I also lied down after the training is all done to dissipate my headache, probably from the lactic.
I jogged back home slowly and am looking forward to tomorrow’s workout.
