Day 7: Plyometrics and Speed Endurance

singapore personal trainer

When I got to the stadium, I expected the track resurfacing to finished but it is still ongoing. Probably gonna take another week or so. Haiz

The thing is, there’s no proper planning in the resurfacing. They patch up the track all over the place. Why not restrict certain lanes closed for repairs, it would be easier for users like me as I’ll have a certain lane free of obstruction.

Also the darn ahpek foreman macam never see people jog before. Stare so long as if I’m naked or a beau

Morning Session

Today I was expecting a delivery order to my house, so I skipped the drills during warming up. After the dynamic warmup, I went straight to the jumping pit for plyometrics

I had two personal best jumps today. Standing triple jump for my left leg, I achieved 10.16 meters. And another good mark in the standing board jump with 2.77 meters. I kid you not! Muahaha. My target is 3 meters of course!

Then I proceed to speed endurance. Actually today supposed to be 4x300m, but I did 5x200m. I didn’t check the schedule, lerrr such a moron. Still it was a good workout. I achieved targeted 27 seconds average at 27.3 seconds in the end

Afternoon Session

I did 3.58km in 17min 50 seconds. That’s around 5 minutes flat per 1km. Very slow pace but I felt darn out of breath at the end of the run.

My heartbeat shotup to 180HB, way beyond my target level. At the pace I’m running, hmm it shouldn’t be that high. Looks like I need more cardio eh

I had to cut short my cardio this evening as I was meeting friends later on. Tomorrow hopefully it will be a long and good one
