Well my rain dance worked again. As I was about to go out for training, it rained heavy. I decided to take the bus due to the heavy shower, but by the time I reached the bustop, it kinda lessen.
So I jogged to the stadium. I was wearing my blazer, so I was all warmed up running in the rain, and not totally wet of course.
Once I reached the stadium, I did the usual dynamic warmup, but the rain really came down heavy as I was about to start the workout.
So I waited. I think it took some half an hour before the rain stopped to a drizzle. I then proceed to training.
Today my right ankle ‘twitch’ which I mentioned yesterday got slightly worse. I can feel the ‘pain’ shooting up my leg once I extend the ankle, but after a few steps or running in motion, the pain is gone.
Still I shouldn’t do any impact bearing exercises. Today I just sticked with the workout and that’s it. Nothing extra I did.
Also I took the bus home as I want to lessen the pounding of the ankle. Jogging back home might just aggravate it.
Plus I skipped today’s body conditioning as its ‘Active Recovery’ week. Tomorrow is speed workout and hopefully the ankle will be fine and able to sustain the impact.
