Today luckily I woke up in time. I went for a short nap which turned out to be longer than expected. I guess the heavy workload taking its toll on me.
As I lay awake slowly in my bed, trying to figure out why it’s so dark, I was woken up by a car honking downstairs below.
I slept for 2 hours or so, instead of a 30 minute slot I gave myself.
So in a jiffy I changed and went to find a slope.
Yup today is slopes training at the new place. By chance as I was recce the area, there was a nice gradient slope near my place. A bit wee in the public being its along the road. Not the main one, but a smaller sub-road that leads to residential areas.
It was shorter than my older route, maybe around 400m plus I think. Surely not beyond 500m I reckon.
To compensate for the lack of distance, I increased today’s intensity.
But since I just ‘recovered’ from a twitchy knee, I just did four out of the six sets I planned to do. There’s plenty of time for doing more sets on next session
For now I must get the body acclimatised to the increase in intensity … slowly but surely.
After slopes training, I did my body conditioning. Luckily there was a nearby park with fitness corner. I skipped the abs, as I didn’t feel like doing it today. Maybe tomorrow.
Well good night yar … train smart!
