Day 55: Cardio (7km Jogging)

Type: Jogging & Body Conditioning

  • Cardio Jogging
    • Target Heartbeat: 50% or 95HB
    • Outcome Heartbeat: 120HB
  • Pullup (5×8)
  • Pushup (5×8)
  • Front/Back/Oblique Abs (Skipped)

Thoughts

Duration: I jogged 40 minutes for 7.51km

Today I ran with a purpose. Firstly it was an easy day of cardio and secondly I went to recce my new rental apartment area.

Yup I’m moving again but it still within the district code. After checking the address location and having a general idea where is it, I made my way in the evening to the area.

The weather for today wasn’t that good. It was cloudy before I left and promise heavy showers it seems from the rumblings in the sky.

Halfway through my run, it started to drizzle, then it got heavier. It wasn’t pouring that heavy, but I seek refuse under shelters when jogging and even stopped for a few minutes at times.

This is because I fear the thunder and lightning. Can’t take any chances eh, you just never know. The chances being strike by lighting is far greater than crashing in an airplane as they say, haha.

When I finally reached my recce area, I stopped my stopwatch and had a look around the area. Pretty quiet place, that’s good. But still near enough to the train station and facilities such as shops and eateries.

After I was satisfied with the recce, I resumed my run. This time round, the pace was much faster than earlier. It was fun chasing a few bicycles on the way. They’re my usual pacer.

I finished it off by some upper body conditioning. I skipped the abs.
