Duration: I jogged 63 minutes for 11.44km
As I set my eyes open, I looked at my watch and it says 6.40am. My body was telling me, wake up dufus, time for your run. I was looking forward to today’s cardio. Its a been a week plus since I had any form of long runs.
Before getting out of bed, I did a body check. I wasn’t aching surprisingly from the weights yesterday, but my legs was feeling kinda ‘tired’. Yup that’s CNS and plyometrics training yesterday for ya, taking its toll on my old rickety legs.
I got up, drank my whey protein shake, had a quick shit, put on some sunblock and off I went out.
It was still slightly dark when I got out. The sun was not out yet in full splendor. I like this part of the morning. Not too hot and not too cold.
As I walked up the pavement, I did some light stretching, reset my clock and off I went.
Today’s goal is to run a slow and long distance run aka LSD. Wanna work on my cardio and remove the lactate excess from this week training.
I decided to run out of Woodlands and Marsiling, heading towards Sembawang. I’ve had too much of the same old scenery in this area, I wanna see a different district.
Yup with that, I sure was asking for it. 63 minutes later and nearly 12km, I went to Sembawang and back to my home. It was an alright run, but the excruciating part was that, I had the urge to do my ‘business’.
To my horror I was halfway between Sembawang and my area with no toilet in sight when I had the shitting urges. So I took a deep breath and suck it up … literally, haha.
When I finally got to the public toilet at the train station, I still had to wait even further. Just my darn luck, as all three cubicles was being occupied.
So when it was available, I literally had the relief of my life. Yes I being gross alright, here’s some more. Have you seen the Niagara Falls? Well imagine that but on a smaller scale for my situation. Keke … yes gross.
Well after that delightful ‘business’ I brought a notch down on my running pace. Found the exercise corner, did some pullup and dips. After that I jog the rest of the distance home in an easy pace.
Well that’s my Sunday. Will be taking a short nap after this entry before going out to town and ogle at young sexy things :)
