Oh man, I spoke too soon. My busted left knee which I blogged earlier about it being recovering well, it seems today it has gone kaput again.
After today’s training, it seems it’s back to its crappy self. Stiff, immobile, inflamed and in need of rest. This is just damn frustrating.

The difference in my previous workout that caused this is probably the hurdles. All that jumps ain’t that great for my knee. I didn’t took much caution earlier.
The thing is I felt great before and during training. The knee felt fine, and I was running as if I was having the time of my life. Then during latter half of the workout, the left knee acted up, and with that my energy sapped.

Note: I’ve omitted specific details of my training. Previously I was doing and writing my own workout, thus I wasn’t hesitant to share it with other people. Since now I’m doing consistently my coaches program, it’s right and fair that I don’t disclose his workout sessions, but instead just provide a general training detail instead. I apologize for the inconvenience caused.
1) Some Foam Roller
2) Dynamic Warmup
3) Hurdles / Upslope / Blocks / Transfer
4) Barefoot Running / Active Recovery
5) Foam Roller / Stretching / Massage
The will to run and train is there, but my left knee just can’t take the impact. I can run with it still, but my timings won’t be superb, and my mechanics is shoddy.
Oh well I’ll keep on plugging at it. As Galaxy Quest’s Jason Nesmith always says, “Never give up, never surrender” :p … haha.
