Thoughts
I can honestly say today’s training was easy peasy. I didn’t quite felt the ache and out of breath kind of workouts that I usually did on other occasion. Being its endurance today, I only felt the tiny weeny muscle exhaustion after training at home, probably from the mileage
Kinda odd. The plan is for intensity set at 60% of 1000m. So I based it on my average 2.4km timing of 8:30min. I made that 100%, reduced the effort to get a 60% effort timing and then equate the distance for 2.4km to 1km to get another set of timing
I got 4:57min for 1000m. Should be about right. That’s a 12:30min 2.4km pace kind of timing. Yeah no wonder it was ‘easy’ as it pretty darn slow pace. But I have to follow the workout as recommended by the books. I’m just afraid I would develop more slow twitch muscle
Today for training I didn’t managed to complete the last set and my body workout as it was raining heavily. I have no issues running in the rain but the groundsman find it otherwise not safe, so everyone had to leave the track. So I packed my bags after that being the rain would last the whole evening
Back home, I looked in the mirror today and try to find ways to improve my physique. I need to be compact, light yet fast and powerful. The upperbody is fine, but legs could do some ‘trimming’. Sadly the fact is, I was born with thunder thighs. Well nothing is impossible as quoted from Adidas, so I’ll ensure its more ripped by the end of the year
Tomorrow or later in fact is training of my CNS (central nervous system) via medicine ball and some strengthening via staircase training. Yipee new workout! I can’t wait for it
