Thoughts
All I can say for today’s training was that is darn sibeh hard! I kid you not, and it’s only into the second week of Phase 6. Next week is even tougher, and I do hope I’ll do better as I didn’t hit my target time sadly
Today intensity is at 80%, up by 5% more than last week for tempo endurance. Target time for each run is about 28 seconds but I faltered and did on average 31 seconds. Bummer … well I’ll do better the outing hopefully
You can only get better right. Anyway as I’m writing this, earlier I nearly pulled my muscle while sitting down! Hmmm a sign of muscle exhaustion. Later tonight, I’ll sleep in earlier than usual, hopefully I’ll be fresh tomorrow.
Despite all the ache and pain, I love training. It’s like my mojo. Everything in this world is made of energy and this is my means of being part of that energy. When I run, it not about being the fastest or the strongest but having a moment. Enjoying it, stress free and living life
A little tip, when I run its like an outer body experience. I imagined I’m someone else. Hahaha, yes I did. I imagined I was this Johor and Vietnam 400m runner, whom I could never beat from previous races. For one, it gives me the motivation as I’m that person, faster. Secondly it feels as though I’m immune to the pain as I’m having an out of body experience. Sounds kind of dumb, but it works for me!
Well here’s to another tomorrow of ‘pain’. Can’t wait for it!
