Day 229: Strength (Core, Gym, Plyometrics and Sprints)

singapore personal trainer

Disclaimer: By doing my workouts and blogging it online here, I’m not seeking attention, nor am I an exhibitionist. I’m the type that follow-through my training much better if I put it in writing. I workout because I can, and I love doing so. Do not try to emulate my training program, I bear no responsibility if you do so. I’m no role-model, not your papa, mama, your soulmate, or someone you can look-up to, nor am I’m a national athlete … I am just a NOBODY. So just leave me be.

Finally it’s Friday and this whole week I’ve been really tired. It is as if I’m never feeling ‘fresh’ at the start of every workout. It doesn’t help that work has been on my mind too, but I try not to focus on that when I’m training.

Anyway I checked my website server logs, and it seems I’ve been getting extra new visitors, who came to my blog under the keyword “Uncle Sha Fitness Blog” … haha, I know who you are, don’t worry, it’s between the two of us.

Just don’t share this blog URL with anyone alright, I would like to keep it a secret and low profile. Very inquisitive of you eh.

Earlier during jogging to my training location, I nearly stumbled, and my ankle nearly buckled. I wasn’t even jogging fast, it’s the stupid pathway that was never maintained properly.

My greatest fear is to get injured and being not able to train, and add to that, it will be a shame to get injured over a stupid accident like stumbling.

Well I do try my best to be injury free by being wary and aware, but all we can do is hope nothing bad happens.

As for the gym today, it was 99 per cent great. Despite the hogger (a gym user who hogs the station/equipment) being around, luckily he wasn’t at the stations when I was doing my workout … if so, it will be a long wait.

The only 1 per cent gripe is that I didn’t do front abs today as there was these kids who were using the incline abs station for their chest press. I’m alright with that, but the thing is, they were talking more than working-out itself … morons.

I decided to forgo the abs as by the time the kids had finished their dilly-dallying chest press, I had already completed every workouts on my training schedule.

Anyway the conversion at the outdoors today was slightly different. It’s time I move into another phase of my training. Starting today I’ve since brought spikes shoes to do the short dash after gym.

It’s time for my legs to have more track-time, as my GPP phase is now over. Well that’s all, until tomorrow again for another entry!
