Disclaimer: By doing my workouts and blogging it online here, I’m not seeking attention, nor am I an exhibitionist. I’m the type that follow-through my training much better if I put it in writing. I workout because I can, and I love doing so. Do not try to emulate my training program, I bear no responsibility if you do so. I’m no role-model, not your papa, mama, your soulmate, or someone you can look-up to, nor am I’m a national athlete … I am just a NOBODY. So just leave me be.

It’s TGIF … Well I’ve never really understood behind the concept of looking forward to the weekend. To me everyday is like any other day, be it Monday or Friday. I guess most of those who prefers the weekend have jobs they dread doing perhaps.

Well anyway back to the training logs, my condition today is slightly off. It seems somehow my right ankle has picked up a slight ache. Nothing serious, but I’m putting on my ankle guard for self-preservation earlier. As I’m writing this entry, the ankle feels fine.

Today was gym session and I was expecting a surge of users, being today it’s just a day away from a public holiday. Companies usually let their workers off early or close-shop during Chinese New Year period. But to my surprise, the gym was rather vacant.

Well that’s good news for me of course, as there will be less waiting time. In fact my waiting time to use the equipment at the gym today was non-existent, except for the Squats rack. The dude who hogs the machines was back! Oh boy …

5) Stretching/Massage

From the time I started my workout, till the end of it, which is around 1 hour, the dude was still using the Squats Rack the whole time. What the fuck. By the time he finished with it, I was already done with my training, and was going outside.

I was just in no mood to do Half Squats and Split Squats anymore by then. I skipped those two today. What a moron this dude is. Come on, even the treadmill has a time limit of 20 minute usage.

Well anyway at such moronic encounter, I’ll try not to let such jerks ruin my day. I instead focused on the task at hand. Gym was rather alright today, being it’s active recovery week, I did manageable weights, nothing too heavy.

I went outside for my conversion, and oh boy the weather for the past week or so have been a scorcher. I applied my sunblock twice by now, before resuming my training outside.

I finally found the height of the platform I did my box jump. It’s 96cm. I’m hoping to find one that’s 1 meter and above in height, as the hurdles maximum height is 1.067 meters. I’ve to jump higher than this obviously to be good in running.

While doing my training, I met an old junior from my training group. They sure have all grown-up, and it’s my fault not keeping in touch, but I’m not that much of a sociable person. As long they’re in my FaceBook account, there’s always a chance of future gathering, for now I prefer my privacy.
