Day 21: Weights

Type Workout: Weights (Around 2 hours)

  1. Jump (Olympic Bar) 3×10 of 60kg, 60kg, 60kg
  2. Bench Press (Olympic Bar) 3×10 of 50kg, 50kg, 50kg
  3. Hamstring (Machine) 3×10 of 95lbs, 105lbs, 115lbs
  4. Flies (Dumbell) 3×10 5.5kg
  5. Inclined Abs front + back (with 20kg Weights) 3×20
  6. Lie down + Leg pushout (with 15kg Weights) 3×10
  7. Weights Plyometrics
    • Box Jump: 3×10 jumps
    • Hurdle Jump: 7×7 hurdles jump
    • Bound then Sprint: 3 sets

Type Workout: Jogging & Body Conditioning (About 40 minutes)

  1. Front/Back/Oblique Abs (5×50)
  2. Pullup (6×5)
  3. Pushup (6×5)
  4. Cardio Jogging (15 minutes)

My tapering this week is going well. Despite aching here and there, I have tomorrow to rest and recover. So it should be fine when I run on Saturday, feeling fresh hopefully

Today’s gym start off on a weird note. After I did my dynamic warmup and core exercises on the mat, I was approached by an old uncle perhaps in his late 50′s. He said he was impressed by my flexibility and he told me, when he is my age, he hoped to be that flexible himself

Like HELLO! Do I look older than I am mah? Hahaha

I think the uncle just said it the wrong way, I think he meant if he was my age, he had hoped he was as flexible as me. Well I hope it is that … or all my effort in training is futile, if I were to look older than I should be, keke

As usual gym has the posers and ‘interesting’ personality. Bah I usually ignore these buggers. Also can’t they tell I like to be left alone with my pissed off face

Tomorrow Friday is off .. yipeee
