Day 20: Speed

Type Workout: Speed (About 2 hour plus)

  1. 7 seconds tapping
    • On the spot 5x
    • Staircase 3x
    • Sitting 3x
  2. Alternate one leg staircase jump 3x
  3. Staircase drop 3x
  4. Staircase squat jump 3x
  5. 6x40m
    • 5.13s
    • 5.15s
    • 5.12s
    • 5.08s
    • 5.16s
    • 5.07s
    • Average 5.11s
  6. Sprint down slope 5x (Skipped, tapering)

Type Workout: Jogging & Body Conditioning (About 40 minutes)

  1. Front/Back/Oblique Abs (5×50)
  2. Pullup (6×5)
  3. Pushup (6×5)
  4. Cardio Jogging (15 minutes)

Thoughts

Nothing beats a nice workout. I’m back on track after some rest days due to tapering. I know I need to taper, but it just doesn’t feels right when I’m not doing my workout

Well today the funny thing is, I can’t stop farting when I run, especially when I did the sprints of 6x40m. During the whole sets, I keep making flatulence noises. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry

I tried my best to keep my focus of course and today’s run matched by previous personal best run average of 5.11 seconds. The least session was around 5.21 seconds. So there’s a marked improvement

But fastest timing wise, I couldn’t go below the elusive 5 seconds barrier. Not yet of course, and I’m not giving up. I’ll keep on trying. I can only get better right
