Disclaimer: By doing my workouts and blogging it online here, I’m not seeking attention, nor am I an exhibitionist. I’m the type that follow-through my training much better if I put it in writing. I workout because I can. So do not try to emulate my program, I bear no responsibility if you do so. I’m no role-model, nor am I’m a national athlete, I’m just a nobody. Just leave me be.
Well the above photo is my first part of today’s training session, which is the Medicine Ball. The specific workout was the ‘explosive start’ where I threw the weight plate as far as I can, and follow-up with a sprint.
The downside of using weight plate is that I tend to throw not far enough, and by the time I got my running momentum, I caught up with the weight plate, and nearly colliding into it.
So yeah a medicine ball is recommended for this workout, and I’m still working on purchasing it soon in the future, as I’m still saving up.
Before the medicine ball training, I did some home workout, since it’s been awhile since I’ve done so. Some simple abs, nothing too much as my abdominal still hurts, same goes for the shoulder press, nothing too intense, as my traps are hurting still too.
The medicine ball training to my surprise took longer than expected, around 40 minutes. I really need to cut down on the timing. I shall try to do so on the next medicine ball session.

Focus on running form
After the first half of my training program, it’s back to running session. The day started finely with the sun out blazing, perfect for a tan. But as I jogged to my training location, suddenly it poured heavily, and the sky turned grey.
Wow what a change of weather in a matter of minutes. Luckily I reached the residential area for cover as it stated to rain heavily.
As I waited for the shower to dissipate, I warmed up as much as I could under the void deck. The training location was the Woodlands Town Park East. It has the only steep hill around my place, with a delightful staircase to train.
It took about 15 minutes for the heavy shower to dissipate, and I quickly proceed with the training at hand fearing it will rain again.
Indeed it showered intermittently, on and off, but nothing too heavy. As long there’s no thunder and lightning, I consider it’s safe to train. As I began to train, I focused mainly on my form, keeping in mind my bad habits in running as told by my training partner, who was unable to join me for today.
Anyway I’ll be training alone starting today. Oh well as sad as it is, I’ve done it before, and will continue to train, alone or otherwise. I ended today’s workout by jogging back home with Active Recovery, and a long stretch.
