Day 165: Cardio (9.1km in 41:05min) |

Today’s weather was in contrast to the usual rainy days we’ve been having here. It was really hot and the sun was blazing when I left my place.
I did abs, core and upper body before my cardio of course. During the run, it was so hot for me, I chapped and split my lips even. Yeah it was that freaking hot.
For the run itself, I couldn’t settle on a rhythm. It was a stop, go and start from beginning kind of pace.
The pace for today was 4:30 minute per km. Well I wasn’t surprised as I was literally ‘dying’ during the run.
What kept me going was the thought of a cool beverage after my run. Anyway I’ve started to resume to do my pullups at the fitness corner for my upper body program.
It’s overhang pullup, and today I did 2sets x 11reps, and hoping to increase the reps by one each week. It will be a nice figure to hit for the gold standard for my IPPT, and kaching $400 in the bag. I know I can do more pullups reps, but what’s the point.
For my age group I just need to do 10 reps I think to get the gold mark … Yup easy peasy.
