Day 158: Cardio (7.85km in 33:02min) |

It’s Monday and I’m rearing to train yet again. The last week was more of a recovery week for, a transition from low intensity to one of increased training level starting this week.
Like a sine graph, you need to periodize your training, fluctuate from low to high intensity, and back and forth, as you can’t always be on the high always. Our bodies are not made that way.
I woke up slightly late from my usual nap today, I guess I was that tired from work.
I got off my ass and did my standard abs, core, and body workout. That sure felt good.
I left my place half past four. I always run different routes on a daily basis as I like to mix it up. Running the same trail would be rather boring and would leave me rather feeling as if my workout ain’t complete.
The pace today was 4:12 minute per/km, rather my usual pace. I ran the first part of the run on gear one, then I proceed doing short fartleks in the middle, and ended the run with a couple of long sprints.
Well tomorrow would be gym, and I do hope to better my bench press PB. Good night!
