Day 156: Cardio (7.44km in 33:23min) |

Today when I woke up I was slightly sore from the previous day’s workout. I really did a good number on my core, and I felt it today. So overall it’s a good indication that my workout was effective.
However I did felt a slight twitch on the left side of my kidney, the spot behind there. Could be a strain from the abs routine? Well I’m not taking any chances, and skipped any core/abs stuff today.
I went straight to upper body workout instead and off I went for my run after that.
The run itself I went slow first, then fartleks couple of times in between, change another gear to a faster pace, and ended at the fitness corner.
The pace today was 4:29 minute per km. Quite alright. I was trying out a new running technique, called the Alexander technique.
It’s actually quite hard to implement it, as you need to consciously try not to strain your neck, head and spine when running. Kinda like POSE running, similar to that.
The upper body I tried the sequences of sets/reps to failure. Lesser sets but tough as hell. I’m still reeling from it, my shoulders are still slightly pumped.
Well tomorrow is gym, yipee!
