Day 132: Cardio (8.71km in 38:47min) |

Hello all again, I’m back. Oh no I did not falter and quit training altogether, but I was truly busy with work, thus no fitness entries the past week. Due to the work load, I had to opt for alternative training around the workplace and home.
The decision saved time for my work, although the training is less intense than full-on training program, it at least kept me motivated still on the fitness bandwagon. You gotta do what a training addict got to do eh.
And today I’m finally managed to pry away from my work. The thing is I planned to relive my glory younger day. My goal until the end of the year is to hit 1,000 reps of core and abs per day by then.
What was a usual routine daily when I was younger, I find it’s hard to keep up these days. Let me elaborate …
I knew I can’t just start 1,000 reps immediately, I had to start somewhere lower than that. So I targeted 200 reps for today. And you know what, even that I fall short of it, hahaha.
I only managed to do 120 reps. I planned to do 20×3 in morning, 20×3 in afternoon and 20×4 in the evening. Safe to say, I did the morning and afternoon routine, but totally had to skip the evening one.
Why? Because I overslept during my nap. By the time I woke up, it was too late in the evening, and I still had to do my cardio, plus preparing to break my fast. So I skipped my abs, core and upper body.
I reckon the workload it’s taking its toll on my recovery, oh well I’m not giving up, there’s still tomorrow eh.
I intend to increase each day by 10 reps to the number. There would be easy week, and hard week. Remember you can’t always be gung-ho about fitness, know your limitations and body.
Happy training everyone!
