Day 126: Cardio (8.84km in 38:48min) |

A brand new training week starts. It’s been nearly two weeks since I used my heart rate monitor gadget, and I felt that my training has more quality now. I can now specifically target which training zone I want to focus on without second guessing, as previously.
Still a new challenge for the coming weeks is that I’ll be training during fasting Ramadhan month. Well I reckon it won’t be a problem for me, as I had trained before under such condition.
To offset the thirst during and after workout, I make sure that I drink plenty of water before fasting for the day starts. Also I moved back my training as much as I can when it’s near to the breaking of fast. By the time I finished my workout, it would be ideal for me to replenish my fluids as fasting for the day has just ended.
Today’s training went without a hitch. The pace was 4:23 minute per km. I however have to reduce my pace I reckon as my heart rate was shooting into the 200HB region often. I’m working more on anaerobic rather than aerobic.
My core seems to be getting stronger, the abs was easy, so I’ll add more reps by next week hopefully. Upper body workout, I added a few assortment of new routine to the mix. I’m hoping for a more general overall body cross workout.
