Today’s training was a bit of a rush. I finished work right smack on the dot, that also was a rushed-job. I punched out, wore my apparel, took my shades and off I went.
I did a slight warmup, and I skipped abs and core today as I was pressed for time.
I headed in the Yishun direction, opting to try a new route there via Gambas Avenue. I love running that area, as there’s no obstruction with pedestrian, little or no traffic lights and the long slopes, albeit a gentle incline, is a killer.
The pace today was 4:09 minute per km. Faster than my previous timings this week. I would think I could have gone sub 4 minute if I wasn’t rushing, and had a problem warmup preparation.
After the run, I did the usual upper body. I stayed with the same reps and sets. I’ll increase the intensity next week perhaps as it’s getting too easy these days doing it.
