Today I was abruptly woken up from my nap with the sounds of the landlord blaring away at the karaoke set. I know they mean well, but I need my sleep damn-it.
Rather than continuing my nap, which is pointless as I won’t get a second of wink time, I decided to do my workout. The great weather made up for my grumpiness.
It was really hot and shining. Probably the hottest day of the week, a great change from the usual overcast and rain. Well with that, I put on few extra slabs of sunblock today.
I slowed the pace down today. It was 4:28 minute per km. Quite alright, but then again my timing could be off, as my stopwatch has gone wonkers since yesterday.
I can start it today, but I can’t pause it. So that would be bad if I were at a traffic junction for example and my clock kept on running.
So to remedy that I ran an extra distance to head for the nearest overhead bridge. The idea is to never stop running, thus never to pause my stopwatch. Brilliant right, haha.
Well tomorrow is Sunday, and my body is aching for some rest. I would do some self-massage later on to soothe the muscles. Good night!
