The other I talked about my rant of chili on how I just have in every day, well here’s a detailed entry about it It’s a Singaporean staple diet that we can’t ‘live’ without on a daily basis right. I’ve not heard of anyone I know who doesn’t consume it. I myself am very particular about my chili especially my ‘Sambal Blachan’. For me, it must have the right fragrance, not too sour, richness in the taste, spicy yet a tinge of sweetness in the flavor and that extra unique oomppphh that only local Sambal Blachan is known for
I miss my mum chili as she knows my tastebud best, so the next best alternative so far I’ve found is “Taho Sambal Blachan”. I could finish the small chili container in just a day, I kid you not!! But I know it’s bad, with all the sodium level in the compound, so I had to exercises moderation when having my Sambal Blachan. Yeah, sounds so sad, but it’s for the best lah. Don’t wanna jack-up my sodium level So where do you get your chili … any recommendations
