June 2008 Grocery Bill: $191 dollars

I don’t know what happened to my grocery bill for July, it shot up by 150% compared to June. Oh boy. I would like to comfort myself saying maybe its just a bad month or stocking-up month. Well this August I’ll be even really frugal

The prices for the products at Sheng Shiong, the place which I frequent more or less are the same, but perishable products like veggies and eggs fluctuates. That’s the main difference at each point of purchase

My bodyfat is still low and I’m not compromising the taste and quality for price. Yes these days price does factor over the quality of food for me, but I try to find food that’s good enough ‘quality’ yet the price tag is still within my budget.

I’m also trying to stretch out my daily calories with lesser food-intake these days, but just enough calories to sustain my daily heavy training. You must love the food you’re consuming. That’s very important. If you don’t love what you’re eating, it will backfire no matter how good the diet planning is
