I usually do my shopping at Sheng Shiong as the prices there are way cheaper, but the funny thing is, the outlet here at my place, they don’t sell that much of Yoghurt. It does sells few variety of Yoghurt but it’s rather pricey with limited choices. For example, 900g of yoghurt for $7-8 plus! Yes pricey
So I would opt on Cold Storage or NTUC FairPrice to purchase my yoghurt. I don’t like it when my yoghurt becomes ‘lumpy’ thus I don’t buy it in bulk, just a 1kg tub is enough which will last a week for me
I tried a new brand today, Emmi. Looks like a ‘premium’ brand at $7.20 for 1kg. I’ve yet to taste it. So far for me, ‘Ski Lite’ has the tastiest yoghurt for my tastebud
Another purchase is fruits. Fragrant pear which I can’t seem to find at Sheng Shiong also, and I love these sweet thang. At 33 cents per gram, 5 pieces of this is worth $2.67. The apples and oranges I bought at Sheng Shiong for 5 pieces of fruits, usually don’t cost beyond $2.20
I may seem frugal eh … but anything to save my money but with quality purchase, that’s my ultimate goal
